What I like most about my job is being able to face totally different challenges every day.

At Innovation Strategies we celebrate the personal and professional successes of the people who are part of the team and we did not want to miss the opportunity to commemorate the ten years that our colleague Gonzalo Laso celebrates this 2024 being part of this company. In this interview, Gonzalo reviews his first steps in the company and how he values it.

- How did you start your career at Innovation Strategies?

I applied for a Software Engineer position after finishing my degree in Computer Engineering and little by little I have been evolving, going through different positions until I reached the current position of Data Team Lead.

- What do you like most about your job?

What I like most about my job is being able to face totally different challenges every day. I also enjoy the duality of being able to work on the technical side as well as on the management side, being in direct contact with both the client and my technical team, helping them when needed.

- What advice would you give to someone starting out in this position?

To always be eager to be trained with the latest technologies that are on the market, as well as to have patience for the fact of having to change the focus based on the priorities of the day to day.

- What do you value most about working in this company?

The work environment both with colleagues and the client, as well as the flexibility we have when it comes to work.

- How has Innovation Strategies evolved since you started?

Since I joined Innovation Strategies it has grown quite a lot and I have seen different extensions of the Palma office as well as the opening of different locations or  the acquisition of Siemens Advanta, but always keeping the philosophy with which I joined 10 years ago.
